Wet n' Wild Megalast Lipstick Swatches & Review!

I'm back with more swatches and another review, you guys! For this review, I'll be talking about five Megalast Lipstick shades from Wet n' Wild which I personally LOVE. I didn't buy five shades for nothing! Some quick details about these lippies: 1) They're matte but not drying 2) The pigmentation is amazing 3) It lives up to its name, it LASTS. It retails for P299 (local department stores) and only P150 in!

SWATCHES: (from left to right) Vamp it Up, Spiked with Rum, Rosebud, In The Flesh, Bare it All

(meh, excuse the messy hair haha)
My favorite from the bunch! I've had this for about two months now and I've been using it a lot. Bare it All is the ever so famous dupe for Mac's Velvet Teddy. For more Mac Lipstick dupes check out this video by KathleenLights. I use this shade whenever I go for a simple everyday look and this perfect brown (subtle pink) nude goes well with almost any skin tone, but it suits those with warm undertones best!

This was one of the newest additions to my Megalast babies that I bought from! I honestly thought this shade would appear brownish on me but it seemed to have more of a pinkish tone even in person. I would still reach out for this if I'm going for an everyday look. It has the same formula with the rest, very pigmented and not drying.
Another newbie in my collection! This is really new to me. I don't really buy pink shades unless it's more on the nude side or is more muted. However, I felt the need to own a rosy colored lippie that's still not too bright and this one is just perfect. I also bought this from!

When I say "red", this is what I'm talking about! It reminds me of my Revlon lippie in the shade Rum Raisin and it actually looks almost similar when I swatched it side by side on my hands. The only difference is that Spiked with Rum is matte and Rum Raisin has a creamy formula.
Feeling really edgy with this one. This may not be as wearable as the other shades but this one's perfect if you're going for that tough chick/grunge look. I just really had to have this shade in my collection! It's a cool toned deep purple shade and is even darker than Nyx Soft Matte in Transylvania!

The only problem with the Megalast line is the packaging. I feel like the material used in the packaging is really light and it does feel cheap to be honest. It also doesn't feel that intact and the lippie doesn't go all the way down so when you close it with the lid, you always have to be careful that you don't break the actually lipstick. For my final verdict, should I say more? I love these lippies! I do think it's a must-have. It's affordable and the formula seems high-end to me. That's it for my Wet n' Wild Megalast review, tell me what you think!

  1. Hi! What local department stores can you buy these lipsticks? :)

    1. They have a stall in Trinoma, I think. Other than that, I don't know haha

    2. You can get them in Personal Care Exchange (PCX) in Greenbelt and in Purebeauty outlets. Although, I suggest getting them online instead since it's much cheaper compared to your local department stores :)
